Muamba was not reunited with his father until 1999 when he moved to London aged 11.

Quick Read, Touching

This book is great. It is a story of both his incident at White Hart Lane and how he became a professional footballer. Despite the serious subject matter, it was somewhat of a quick read. For anyone concerned with his English due to his Twitter account- the English in the book is for the most part flawless. I can only assume it was translated from French, but either way, I can sense nothing was lost due to language: he says everything he wants to say the way he wants to say it.
I'm not sure I would recommend this to a non-football fan, since a lot of his story focuses on his trying to make it in the Premier League. I think every football fan could enjoy this book though. It is a book that cannot be put down. I brought it on a vacation to read on the plane rides and ended up reading it all before the flight back: the book is that enticing.

Wonderful book

I read the first 7 chapters the day i got it and i read all that in like 5 hours or a little less The book is written so it jumps between events. But the way it jumps between things is written in a way where you are not confused. all the events fit together well. It also has quite a few pictures and i loved looking at then. If i could give it like 10 stars i would. Best book i ever bought I can't wait till this semester in college is done so i can finish this book..

Inspiring read!!!

Couldn't put it down. What an inspiring story. I was watching the game in Michigan, USA on that fateful day. As an RN, I knew something was terribly wrong. Even thousands of miles away, we were moved to tears and joined the thousands who were praying. So thankful that God answers prayer. The story is told from the heart...couldn't help being touched by the message to value life and make everyday count. Great read, Fabrice!
